TRUMAN MIDDLE SCHOOL
BIOSWALE RESTORATION
We systematically eradicated invasive vegetation, efficiently cleared years of sediment accumulation, and responsibly disposed of it at a specialized hazardous waste facility. Our meticulous efforts successfully restored the Truman Middle School bioswale to its original design specifications. Implementing state-of-the-art biofiltration material and strategically replanting suitable grasses, we've rejuvenated the facility for enhanced and optimal filtration.
DAVIS HIGH SCHOOL
AUDITORIUM EXPANSION
We assumed responsibility for the Davis High School Auditorium Expansion project, stepping in for a previous contractor facing challenges. Despite the logistical challenges of traveling to Yakima and staying out of town for week-long phases, we successfully managed the project over a year and a half.
Our scope included the meticulous removal of job site debris, necessary excavation for new footings, and the relocation of storm and sanitary sewer lines and structures. We installed new sanitary and storm lines, ensuring compliance with municipal specifications under the scrutiny of inspectors. Additionally, we replaced patio media, pavers, planter media, and irrigation to enhance the overall project.
DECATUR ISLAND CLEARING, GRUBBING, AND EXCAVATING
Decatur Island presents unique challenges, requiring us to transport equipment on a barge and occasionally necessitating camping for the duration of the job. Our diverse projects on the island include cutting in and installing new driveways and roads, excavating footings for new homes, and even using our large truck to launch a converted fishing vessel turned private yacht. We regularly engage in island work, collaborating with utility contractors for electrical service installations, water main and line installations, and septic excavation.
Our expertise extends to annual fire prevention clearing, utilizing our robot brush cutter and commercial riding brush mower to clear fields as extensive as 15 acres. Notably, we've undertaken site work for OPALCO, the Power Utility Company in the islands, including brush cutting their solar array property in and around the solar farm.
OTHER PROJECTS
Other notable projects in our portfolio encompass excavations for electrical contractors at key locations, including the Puget Sound Skills Center for Highline School District, EV bus charging stations at the Everett Bus Terminal, utility excavations, and road crossings for a sizable apartment complex, and a specialized undertaking involving sensitive shoreline excavation. We successfully installed current storm filters at a new residential property in full compliance with stringent contamination regulations at Lake Stevens.
