With over two decades of experience in the construction industry, Matt Brown is the driving force behind Hummingbird Building & Excavation, Inc. As a journey-level heavy equipment operator, Matt's expertise spans various facets of construction, making him the go-to operator for our projects. What sets Matt apart is his extensive Public Works experience, acquired both as a contractor and a former municipal employee. His adeptness in project management ensures seamless coordination and prompt communication throughout every stage of a project.

As the administrative face of Hummingbird Building & Excavating, Inc., Crystal Komenda brings over a decade of experience. With a background in running the office side of contracting businesses, Crystal is well-versed in the intricate operations of business management. Her meticulous attention to detail ensures that every aspect Of our projects runs smoothly.
Despite her administrative role, Crystal does not shy away from getting her hands dirty. Often seen with a shovel in hand, she works alongside Matt on projects, embodying quick learning and a steady work ethic that helps her get the job done efficiently.
